The City of Fort Lauderdale is working with a consultant, Inspire Placemaking Collective, to create a streetscape master plan for the Sailboat Bend Historic District. As part of the engagement process, the project team desires active community input and participation to develop the streetscape plan. A comprehensive streetscape plan will integrate accessibility, walkability, improved safety, balanced with consideration for storm water and sustainability. It will provide an opportunity to stitch all these elements into a cohesive urban fabric through enhancement of the neighborhood streetscape design, thus contributing further to the community’s truly unique sense of place.
